Wout Weghorst is hoping to undergo a medical with Manchester United later on Thursday as he tries to complete a move to Old Trafford in time to play in the Manchester derby at the weekend.
The 30-year-old is desperate to join United and has been urging Besiktas to allow the move to progress in order for him to be involved against Manchester City on Saturday lunchtime.
United and Besiktas have agreed a fee of £2.5million for the Turkish giants to terminate his loan, which would allow him to move on loan from Burnley to United for the remainder of this season.
