World's top golfers given best Edinburgh restaurants list by fellow pro ahead of Scottish Open

Golfing royalty is soon set to descend on East Lothian with the Scottish Open due to tee off later this week.

North Berwick's Renaissance Club will to host nine of the world's best 10 golfers - including recent US Open champion Matthew Fitzpatrick, Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, US PGA Champion Justin Thomas, last years Open champion Collin Morikawa and Scotsman, Bob MacIntyre.

Another Scots golfer set to take part is Edinburgh-based Richie Ramsay, who tied in 15th place in last year's event in East Lothian.

And while the sports stars in the Edinburgh area, they might be keen to do some exploring. Thanks to Richie Ramsay, they now have a list of what the 39-year-old tour pro feels are the best restaurants in the capital they might want to visit when they're not on the course.
