World Refugee Day: More than 100 million people now displaced around the globe

The number of refugees around the world has now surpassed 100 million, according to the United Nations Refugee Agency - and a third of them are children.

Russia’s invasion in Ukraine caused the number of displaced people in Europe to spike since the conflict broke out in February, though according to a detailed report by the UN, last year’s numbers were already record-breaking.
