World Pasta Day is celebrated on October 25 every year. No matter whether you’re a fan of spaghetti or farfalle—today’s a chance to celebrate every variety of one of our favourite comfort foods.

The special occasion was first observed in 1996 when 40 pasta producers from around the world gathered at the first World Pasta Congress. Since then, on October 25 every year pasta lovers unite to celebrate their favourite dish.
