CHENNAI: Shakib Al Hasan has encountered many turbulences before flying high. The Bangladesh skipper, who had said that he is set to bring down the curtains on his international ride after the 2025 Champions Trophy, will be keen on making this ODI World Cup a memorable one.

Shakib is currently the No. 1 ODI allrounder but it hasn't been easy for him. From being suspended for two years in 2019 to leading his team in a global event like the World Cup, the highs and lows have been remarkable.
