Football fans can bag themselves a free drink if they share a surname with a player in the men's England or Wales teams. Pub company and brewer Greene King is behind the offer, which coincides with the Football World Cup.
Pub goers can get free pint, bottle of Ice Breaker Pale Ale or soft drink alternative throughout the home nations group stages of the tournament in over 800 pubs nationwide. To claim the free drink, customers must show valid, in-date photo ID at the bar of any participating pub during a live group game involving either home nation.
They must have one of the following surnames: Hennessey, Ward, Davies, Cabango, Lockyer, Rodon, Mepham, Ampadu, Gunter, Williams, Roberts, Thomas, Allen, Smith, Levitt, Wilson, Morrell, Ramsey, Colwill, Bale, Moore, Harris, Johnson, James, Pickford, Pope, Ramsdale.
