He's become the World Cup king of hairdressing.
Ahmed Alsanawi has been flying out to Qatar to cut the hair of some of the England World Cup squad.
And … he’s also been contracted to trim the locks of French players as well.
Ahmed’s talents are so sought after he has a foot in both camps ahead of Saturday’s crunch game.
He's posted pics of Phil Foden and Marcus Rashford and their trims on his Instagram account.
Ahmed also styled the hair of five of the Belgium players here before they got knocked out.
As his hairdressing skills have become famous it emerged that a survey revealed that huge numbers of England fans would copy their favourite player’s cut. Jack Grealish ’s is the most popular.
Ahmed has become a firm favourite with Three Lions players. He said: “We have been cutting the likes of Marcus Rashford, Jack Grealish and Phil Foden for years now.
“I get flown out by whoever needs me.
“I'm booked up by the England team and the France team and whoever then gets through.
“I also work closely with the Belgium team.”
Alsanawi is the owner of A Star Barbers, in Chessington, Surrey He explained: “I did the new lines on Foden a few weeks ago and Grealish's highlights.
“I always cut them the day before the game.
“I wish it could be the morning so that they look even fresher, but obviously they've got to be focused and make sure they're training.
“They perform in front of millions of people, so their image is very important.”
He added: “I told Jack Grealish I am going to bleach his hair if they reach the final.
“I'll be able to convince someone to do something mad for the final, I'm sure.”
Alsanawi is now considered something of a good luck charm - he disclosed that during the last World Cup he cut the hair of French players who went on to win the tournament.
Ahmed started his company in 2013 with his wife and business partner, Tanya.
In a very short space of time, he had attained success becoming the home of professional footballers and walk-in customers alike.
In the past, he served as Chelsea's training ground barber until he fell out with the Premier League giants in 2017 over allegations he used the club's superstars to promote his haircut business.
He now has an incredible collection of shirts courtesy of the superstar footballers he meets.
The celebrity barber is also proud to show off his finished jobs on Astar official Instagram page and was given a shout out by France for his haircut services before their World Cup 2018 triumph.
A new survey has revealed that almost one third (31%) of Brits would copy their favourite footballer’s hairstyle to show support for England on their route to glory.
Grealish’s undercut tops the polls as the UK’s most desirable trim.
Almost half (48%) of millennials said they have copied the hairstyles of their footballing idols because they have style.
David Beckham ’s ‘mohawk’ from the 2002 World Cup tops the list as the most iconic footballing haircut, even after twenty years, followed closely by Kevin Keegan’s famous perm.
A quarter (27%) of 18-34-year-olds said they would pick up a pair of clippers and some scissors to celebrate a big win.
It’s Grealish’s undercut (with the Alice band) that they want the most, ahead of teenage Cristiano Ronaldo ’s famous blonde tips.
