After weeks of planning and preparation World Book Day is here again.
It's the day when thousands of children dress up as their favourite book characters in a worldwide celebration of books and reading.
Schools, nurseries and libraries will be taking part in the event, which this year celebrates its 26th anniversary.

We've seen some amazing creations throughout the years and Manchester parents never disappoint.
Roald Dahl and David Walliams characters are among the popular ones that families recreate and we're expecting some more Matildas and Gangsta Grannies this year.
