World amazed at our vaccination drive but some question photo on certificates: PM Narendra Modi

GANDHINAGAR: Speaking perhaps for the first time on the issue, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday said at a time when the entire world was discussing how India was able to give certificates to citizens soon after they were vaccinated against Covid-19, there were some people who were just focusing on why his photograph appeared on these documents.

Speaking at the inaugural function of the Digital India Week 2022 at Gandhinagar, Modi said India's digital-driven Covid-19 vaccination programme (CoWin served as technology platform for the humongous inoculation exercise) received world-wide praise.
