A man is his 60s has been confirmed dead at a workplace accident in Co Cork.
The incident reportedly happened at a wood yard in Dromina, near Charleville, on Thursday and emergency services rushed to the scene.
The man in his 60s had suffered an accident while working at a wood yard. He was sadly pronounced dead and was taken to Cork University Hospital where a postmortem is due to be completed.

The man was very well known in the area and worked as a woodcutter, CorkBeo reports.
A garda spokesperson confirmed that the Health and Safety Authority of Ireland were notified of the incident and attended the scene yesterday as part of the investigation.
They said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal incident at a premises in Charleville, Co. Cork yesterday afternoon, 15th June 2023. A man aged in his 60s was pronounced deceased."
"The HSA was notified and attended the scene.
"The local Coroner has been notified. The body was removed to Cork University Hospital and a post-mortem will be conducted at a later date"
