Workplace savings scheme could help more people build financial safety net

An initiative to help UK adults to build rainy day savings pots is under way, with the launch of the National Coalition for Workplace Savings.

The scheme could give more people a financial safety net to help cover an unexpected bill and also help some avoid turning to expensive debt.
