The AITUC-backed Kerala Electricity Workers' Federation (KEWF) took out a march to the Vydyuthi Bhavan here on Friday seeking urgent solutions to labour issues in the Kerala State Electricity Board. Inaugurating the march, AITUC State general secretary M. P. Gopakumar demanded the KSEB management to abandon policies that vitiate the peaceful work environment in the power utility. The KEWF has demanded timely promotions to all categories of KSEB employees and urged the management to put a stop to attempts by ''external elements'' to slash salaries in the KSEB.
