Wordle burst onto the scene late in 2021, and has became a part of many puzzle lovers' daily routine.
The game has since been bought by the New York Times and is still releasing five letter words that fans have six tries to guess every day.
While the game is hugely popular, some may be looking for a new challenge; something to add to their lunch break puzzle time.
Here are five games that use the same framework as Wordle, but offer a fun new angle - whether it's a different topic all together or a slightly tweaked ruleset.
Quordle
Is Wordle too easy for you? Maybe Quordle is the game to test your knowledge, instead of one five letter word you have to figure out four at the same time.
This extreme version of the game does give you nine tries instead of just six, allowing you to experiment a bit.
Worldle
If you're more into geography, Worldle tests your knowledge of the globe. Like Wordle you have six tries but this time you're given the outline of a country without any idea of its size or where it borders.
Every time you guess an incorrect country, it will tell you how far away the day's country is from your guess, as well as the direction that you would have to go to reach it.
Nerdle
Maths lovers will enjoy Nerdle, where you have to guess a calculation using numbers with six tries to do so.
It's one of the more complex Wordle-like games, so you may want to take a peek at their how-to guide before playing so that you don't waste any of your daily attempts.
Heardle
Music lovers, this one's for you - Heardle plays a snippet of a song and you have six tries to guess what it is as well as the artist.
Every time you guess wrong, you get another few seconds of music making it easier to figure out what song is playing.
Framed
This one is similar to Heardle and is great for movie lovers. Framed gives a still from a movie and you have to guess what movie it is, it can be as vague as a table or as obvious as the Millennium Falcon
With each guess you get more stills which you can flip between to piece together the movie that the game is showing you.
