Woody Cook has revealed he found himself in hot water with security after trying to crowd surf on an inflatable bed during dad Fatboy Slim’s Glastonbury set.
Cook, the son of the legendary DJ – real name Norman Cook – and ex-wife Zoe Ball, confessed that he was “pretty hammered” at the time and claimed the security member who tried to put an end to his antics was “quite aggressive”.
Detailing the run-in to The Sun, he said: “I realised I was getting nicked.
“The security man was trying to drag me off quite aggressively. I was definitely pretty hammered by that point.
“Then the same security guard who was dragging me off then was asking for a photo, it was very surreal.”
After explaining that he was related to the performer, the Celebrity Gogglebox star was able to get away from security and returned to the gig at the Park Stage.
However far from learning his lesson, he then set off a smoke grenade into the crowd, all of which was captured in posts shared to his Instagram account.
Instead of scolding him in the comments, mum Ball, who refers to him as “my bear” declared him “the absolute prince” followed by two kisses.
The 22-year-old was no doubt keen to let off some steam after performing himself at the festival, doing a DJ set at Gorilla Bar.
