Women are struggling to “sleep and work competently” due to a shortage of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) medication used to treat menopause symptoms, former cabinet minister Caroline Nokes has said.

The UK has been experiencing a nationwide shortage of the drugs since 2019, due to manufacturing and supply issues.
