NEW DELHI: Opener Beth Mooney scored a fine half century while skipper Meg Lanning and Ashleigh Gardner hit quickfire knocks to power Australia to a strong 172 for 4 against India in the first semi-final of the Women's T20 World Cup in Cape Town.

Three dropped catches, atleast 6 fumbles while fielding and 30 runs in the last two overs cost India dearly as Australia maximized ordinary efforts from the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side.
