All eight teams have now been confirmed for the quarter-finals of the Women's Euro 2022 as the tournament heads into the knockout stages.

They continued their ruthless streak against minnows Northern Ireland as Alessio Russo took her tally for the tournament to three with a brace in the 5-0 rout. Sarina Wiegman's side will face pre-tournament favourites Spain in the last eight after the Spaniards finished second in their group. A win would see Spain equal their best performance in the competition, 24 years after they managed to reach the last four in 1997.
