Ex-England and Arsenal full back Alex Scott MBE is quickly becoming one of the BBC ’s most popular pundits.
Scott was awarded an MBE for her services to football after her retirement.
As a footballer, Scott won league titles with Arsenal, represented GB at the London Olympics in 2012 and made more than 100 appearances for the Lionesses.
After retiring in 2017, the Arsenal legend took to the screen as a pundit and worked on the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the BBC.
In the summer of 2021, Alex took over as the host of BBC’s Football Focus and became the first female presenter in the show's 47-year history.
With all of the brilliant work Alex Scott does, how does she have time for a love life?
Does Alex Scott have a partner?
The simple answer is no.
Scott has always kept her romantic life under wraps.
She was, however, rumoured to be in a relationship with Coronation Street star Sam Robertson, after the pair were spotted having dinner together in a Soho restaurant three years ago.
Later on, the BBC presenter told Fabulous magazine: “I never seem to have a lot of luck on dates.
“My one date in ages was going out with Sam [Robertson], who is lovely.”
Since then the ex-England player has taken part in Strictly Come Dancing, and of course questions surfaced whether Scott had been the latest victim to come down with the Strictly Curse.
Her dance partner was Neil Jones, but those claims came to nothing.
On The One Show in February this year, Scott confirmed that she is indeed single.
Alex Scott's Who Do you Think You Are? episode
We all know Scott for her footballing and presenting skills, but recently we took a closer look at her life as she ventured into her family ancestry.
The 38-year-old knew of her Jamaican heritage but also learned of her Jewish roots, connected to her mother's Lithuanian side of the family.
Women's Euros 2022
Alex Scott will be among the BBC’s presenting team at this summer's Euros along with Gabby Logan, as the England women's side look to try and win their first international tournament.
