Woman with 'growing stomach' confused as pregnancy tests come back negative

A woman, who thought she was pregnant after her stomach started to grow, was baffled when tests returned a negative result.

Hollie Welham, 21, believed she was expecting after developing nausea in January 2022, but when all her pregnancy tests came back negative, Hollie was referred for an ultrasound.

Doctors discovered she wasn't carrying a baby, but a large cyst was growing on her right ovary and while waiting for surgery to get it removed, Hollie watched as her stomach "grew and grew" each day.
