Woman who spent 'hours' cooking Easter lunch says her mother-in-law 'ruined it in seconds'

On Easter Sunday, families up and down the country come together for a traditional roast.

One family was doing just that, with a mother claiming she'd spent ages shopping, cleaning and preparing for the special day. She was left feeling 'undermined' and 'disrespected' when her mother-in-law turned up with her own food, reports the Mirror.

According to the mum, the rest of the guests ate that food instead of what she had spent time making. She said the rest of the guests didn't want her mother-in-law to be offended, so chose to eat the latter's food.
