An unemployed woman only eats once a week so she has enough money to feed her six cats who she says "keep her going" during the cost of living crisis.
Yasemn Kaptan, 46, has been skipping meals for a year due to spending £60 of her £69 weekly allowance on her pets.
The stay-at-home carer, from Tottenham, north London, also receives £400 monthly disability benefit due to her osteoporosis, which goes on rent and bills.
