A top body positive influencer has shared photos of herself wearing an outfit in two different sizes to debunk labels.
Isabelle – who goes by the Instagram handle fitness4lazygirls - set out to show fellow shoppers the futility of obsessing over numbers on hangers.
The Daily Star reports how a far better strategy - instead of trying to squeeze into the same size every time - is to opt for what feels good on your body.
And Isabelle appears to have succeeded in her mission, with fans reacting positively to her much-viewed post.

Images show Isabelle unable to get her trousers zipped up in the first snap, while the second image shows her looking much more confident and happy.
Isabelle captioned the image: “Clothing should fit YOU – not the other way around!
“Many of us can get wrapped up in sizing and it can be really hard mentally when you don’t fit into a size that you used to fit into easily.
“As we grow and change, so do our bodies and sizes… and that’s okay!
“Another thing to note here is that sizing is SO variable from store to store (and even within stores).
“Sometimes I fit into an extra small, sometimes into a large, and usually into a medium. It honestly means nothing, and that took me a while to accept.”
Isabelle continued: “Moral of the story, your clothing size really doesn’t matter, and you shouldn’t let it matter! No one knows what size you are wearing except you.
“Let go of your old clothing & stop holding onto an arbitrary size. Go treat yourself to some new clothing that fits YOU!”
The personal trainer’s post garnered more than 60,000 likes and plenty of positive comments.
One responder wrote: “Exactly! Most of the time it isn’t our body that’s the issue but the way clothes are designed.”
Another said: “Such an incredible message!”
A third remarked: “Yes! Our clothes need to fit and make us feel confident.
“Let go of anything that doesn’t spark joy!”
And a fourth added: “Love this! So inspiring girl.”
