Woman was worried about new medication, but her ex encouraged her to take it. Then he got busy using her credit card while she had a seizure

One user on Reddit recently shared a story about the time she realized her ex didn’t have her best interests at heart. The Reddit user, known as noweddingforblobguy, posted on the r/GirlDinnerDiaries subreddit about this former partner who allegedly ignored her during a medical crisis to focus on a selfish financial gain.

According to the post, the situation happened when the woman started a new antidepressant. She was clearly aware of the potential risks, as the medication came with strict warnings that it could not be taken with monoamine oxidase inhibitors, or MAOIs. Concerned, she brought it up with her then-partner. She wrote, “when I told him this, he didn’t give a single f–k, acted like he didn’t believe me.” She stated that he made her take the tranylcypromine anyway.
