When you're picking out a name for your bundle of joy, it's important to put yourself and your family first rather than focusing on other people's opinions.
However, one woman has been warned against a name she likes, as the moniker reminds people of a roast dinner. The controversial name divided opinion after one fan took to Reddit's 'namenerds' forum keen for advice.
In her post, she explained she's not expecting but she wanted to hear feedback on a name she loved. "Not expecting, but curious what everyone’s thoughts are on the use of Sunday as a name?" she wrote.
"I feel like the nicknames Sunny and Daisy (Daisy might be a stretch as far as nicknames go) are so cute! Just curious on other's opinions!" her post concluded.
In response, people advised her to think twice about the idea as cruel tolls previously roasted a celebrity pair for using the same name.
"I guess it's not the worst name around, but definitely not to my taste," read one reply. "It always makes me think about when Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban named their kid Sunday Rose and everyone laughed and said it sounded like sunday roast."
A second added: "It was definitely a widely-mocked name in Australia at the time, can't speak for elsewhere. It's tame by today's naming standards though."
Meanwhile, someone else defended the pick. "Sunday Rose is really cool to me. I didn't know they named their child that. I don't usually like celebrity names but I'm really digging that for some reason," they wrote.
Other commenters also debated the merits of the name. "I definitely prefer Sunday over Wednesday in terms of days of the week names," thought one responder. While another said: "I don't mind it! I actually think Daisy is such a clever nickname too."
