Woman wakes up to maintenance men in her apartment and she decides to confront them despite the fact she’s not wearing any clothes

Waking up to strange men in your apartment would no doubt be a traumatic experience, but waking up while you’re in bed without any clothes on is a whole new level of stress. However, one woman on TikTok didn’t let that stop her from confronting the home intruders while in the nude.

A woman by the name of Jolie recorded herself as she stormed out of her room to question what the men were doing in her home. The men claim they were doing a maintenance inspection but that doesn’t exactly explain why they have let themselves into Jolie’s home completely unannounced.

I had an insane experience today. Maintenance or whoever is doing inspections came into my apartment and broke the metal security bar on my door to get in. I was asleep in my bed when I suddenly heard someone say “maintenance.” I asked my sister if we had ordered any maintenance, and she said no. As I started getting up, I heard multiple voices and realized there were several men inside my apartment. I was butt-ass naked in my own bed, in my own home. There are only women and a child living in this apartment, and to walk out and see a group of men standing in my living room without any permission is shocking and completely unacceptable. If they knocked and didn’t hear anything, they should have called or scheduled a proper time when I was available. Instead, they forced their way in. I’m completely in disbelief that something like this could happen, and I’ve already filed a police report and plan to press charges.

Other women on TikTok have also shared their own stories of maintenance men entering their apartment without permission while they’re alone in their home. It makes you wonder why these people think it’s ok to simply enter another person’s home, even if they weren’t in, that doesn’t justify entering the property as tenants are supposed to be given notice before anyone comes to their home.

The men are noticeably perturbed by Jolie not wearing any clothes as they look away while trying to explain why they were intruding in her apartment. This kind of scenario is exactly why people don’t just let themselves into another person’s home regardless of the reason. Perhaps Jolie was trying to prove a point by not grabbing something to cover herself with on the way out to confront these men.

This was a bold move

Viewers on TikTok were shocked by Jolie’s sheer confidence to storm out there without first grabbing something to cover up. “Why did you not go and wear something after you saw them[?]” Asked one, although another viewer responded, “Why should she? It’s her house,” which is a fair rebuttal.

Others commended Jolie with one person calling it a “power move” to keep talking to the men while naked. It certainly threw them off as neither of them knew how to deal with the situation, perhaps next time they’ll think twice about entering somebody else’s home unannounced.

Some viewers compared it to the Doordash girl situation from a couple of months back. However there’s no evidence that the Doordash girl entered the home of the man who was naked on the couch, nor is there evidence that she pushed open the door so it’s not exactly the same. In this case, the men have clearly illegally entered the property, as Jolie explains, “If they knocked and didn’t hear anything, they should have called or scheduled a proper time when I was available.”

She also claims in the caption that she has filed a police report and plans to file charges.
