A self-declared 'gym rat' is defying trolls who slam her habit of wearing a full face of make-up to the gym.
As reported by the Mirror, TikTokker Rosa Esparza regularly shares workout videos on the Chinese-owned social networking app. But her fitness routines are only half of the appeal, with many viewers sharing opinions on her often eccentric and flashy outfit choices.
Rather than simply putting on any old gym gear, as many of us will probably do this January after the festive season, Rosa opts for snazzy looks such as leopard print onesies, colourful romper suits and stylish velvet crop tops. However, her atypical fashion choices have attracted some unwelcome attention – but that hasn't fazed her.
In a TikTok video that's been viewed almost 300,000 times to date, Rosa, who goes by the handle @rosafit, could be seen lifting weights wearing an emerald-coloured velour tracksuit. The video wasn't just her latest piece of fitspiration – but a clapback to the trolls who can't stand her confidence.
In response to one critic had written 'full face and in dem fit??? [sic]' on one of her previous videos, Rosa proudly proclaimed, 'I do how I want it', showing she isn't fazed one bit by others' views. In the caption accompanying the clip, she wrote: "Girl I do this often. Cute gym fits, full glam, train till failure = bomb a** workouts."

She signed off the quip with the hashtag #dowhatmakesyouhappy, and has since been widely applauded by her followers for bringing her own confident sense of style to her workouts while refusing to be made to feel self-conscious.
One person said: "Absolutely wear whatever you feel good in!" Another agreed: "Look good, do good, feel good."
Rosa has joked in previous clips that she wears full makeup to the gym as this is 'the only place' she actually goes to. She said in an earlier video: "Even if I did have plans I still cancel just to hit the gym."
She added: "Looking and feeling good is a good a** workout! Do and wear whatever the f*** you want to the gym! Who gives a damn about what others think! Do whatever makes you happy."
