A woman is due to appear in court accused of murdering of her husband.
Police were called to a report of concern for the welfare of a man at an address in the Ponteland area of Northumberland at around 5.25pm on Tuesday, March 15.
Emergency services attended and found Anthony Dunn, 81, who was sadly confirmed dead. The man’s family has been made aware and is being offered support by specialist family liaison officers at this time.
