A pet owner strangled and stabbed her pet Yorkshire Terrirer until it died.
Patricia King, 47, admitted to killing the dog named Pepper, with Ms Louise Freeman, prosecuting for the RSPCA, telling a court that the pet was found with multiple stab wounds.
Pepper was also found to have been strangled which could not be ruled out as a cause of death, with the incident happening on February 7 this year.
