Woman shows a man basic kindness, he returns the favor by feverishly stalking her for months

A woman on TikTok has warned people to be careful who they show kindness to. Now that may sound like a rather harsh statement, but after hearing what she’s been through after going out of her way to be nice to a man it’s completely understandable.

A TikToker by the name of “_mhh999,” (we’ll just refer to her as “M”) claimed she was being stalked by a man whom she had taken to hospital many months earlier. “I think I’m actually being stalked,” she states at the start of her video, before going on to give a more detailed version of what went down.

M claims that she saw a man with a limp working in the car wash outside of her gym. When she asked him what was wrong with his leg he pulled his shoes and socks off to reveal what was a bad infection on his feet. Being the kind person she is, M took the man to the hospital for treatment (It’s in the U.K. so it didn’t cost him anything).

The next day M saw him outside the gym again and brought him some food and asked him how he was doing. However, after this interaction everything changed for the worse.

The stalking begins

Unfortunately, the man couldn’t leave it at that. M reveals that she had also given him her number in case of an emergency. He proceeded to bombard her with texts which ultimately led to her blocking his number. She then saw the man walking around her town despite him having no reason to be there, she claims “he obviously knew I lived in this town but he didn’t know where I lived.”

M started seeing him closer and closer to her house, at one point having to drive past the street she lived on so as not to reveal her exact location to him. Then the man made new numbers and restarted his harassment campaign asking M why she was ignoring him. He sent her photos of dresses and told her he wanted to buy them for her, then asked her to come to his flat.

The video ends with the man spotting M at the supermarket and although she managed to get to her car without interacting with him she could see him holding his phone up as if he was taking a picture of the car.

How creepy

Commenters quickly decided that, yes, this was indeed stalking, and that M should contact the authorities. “Report it to the police.” wrote one, warning that many women have died in similar circumstances, “I would suggest checking your car for any tracking devices,” advised another.

In an update video M thanked all the commenters for their advice and said that she would be reporting the stalker to the police and also informing her work just to be safe.
