Tributes have been flowing for an innocent "one of a kind" mum-of-five who police believe may have been accidentally shot dead in Dublin.
Sandra Boyd, who is in her 30s, was shot in a house in Finglas, Dublin 11, at around 8.40pm on Saturday night.
Gardai and emergency services raced to the scene and Ms Boyd was transferred to the Mater Hospital for treatment, but she died a short time later in hospital.
At this stage gardai believe that a firearm was discharged inside the property, resulting in Ms Boyd being accidentally shot, the Irish Independent reports.
The scene remains preserved and a technical examination is being conducted by the Garda Technical Bureau, the Irish Mirror reports.
The Finglas community has been left in shock by the young mother's death with many taking to Facebook to express their condolences.
One person wrote: "Absolutely shocking news tonight what kind of world are we living in? Absolutely heartbreaking. Rest in peace Sandra. You truly were one of a kind look down on your kids and your family."

A third posted: "I'm just lost for words. Absolutely heartbroken for you and your family Sandra Boyd. You were a diamond. Look over your babies and family at this devastating time. RIP beautiful."
Her remains have been removed to the City Morgue and a Post Mortem was due to be conducted this afternoon by State Pathologist Dr. Sally Ann Collis.
