Detectives have launched a witness appeal after a woman was sexually assaulted in Paisley.
The incident happened around 1.30am this morning (July 31) in the Forbes Place area of the town centre.
Police say the victim, a 41-year-old woman, was left shaken as a result of the incident and is currently being provided support by specialist officers.

The male suspect is described as being white, of slim build, in his 30s, with a local accent and long dark hair in a top bun. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black gilet, white T-shirt and dark denim jeans.
Detective Inspector Gary Sergeant of Paisley CID, said: "Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and we are appealing to anyone who may be able to assist with our investigation.
“If you were in the area around the time of the incident, I would urge you to please come forward and speak with officers. I would also ask anyone with possible dashcam or CCTV footage to get in touch with police.”
