Woman seeks out trolls to roast her wedding dress - so she could see its flaws

A bride -to-be wanted some feedback from strangers so shared a snap of her wedding dress online - and soon she was brutally roasted.

TikTok user Randi had picked out her favourite dress and decided the best way to find its flaws was to seek out the opinions of people who weren't afraid to hurt her feelings.

So she posted a picture of her wearing it to a Facebook shaming group and soon hurtful comments came rolling in, and each one made Randi love the dress even more.

Now she's heard every bad thing that people can say about her wedding outfit, and is more certain than ever that it's the right dress for her.

What do you think about Randi's feedback technique? Let us know in the comments...

In a clip on TikTok, Randi, from the US, said: "So I posted my wedding dress in a wedding Facebook shaming group for s***s and giggles and I got absolutely ridiculed.

"No hate to the people who actually commented negative stuff because that's kind of what I was looking for.

"I know everyone was like, 'why would you post this if you already bought it, you're just going to have dress regret and feel insecure after?'

"And that's not at all what happened. I still love my dress and know that's the dress.

"I'm not going to regret buying it because of some strangers on Facebook."

In the clip, she shared a picture of her wearing the dress, and it is nude coloured underneath the white lace.

She continued: "Now I completely understand what all the comments were saying - it doesn't have a lot of lace in it… and yes, it does give a nude illusion but you can obviously tell I'm not naked.

"I love my dress. It is nude underneath, I do look like a s**t but I don't care because it's my wedding. And I've seen way more s******r wedding dresses - and it's 2022! Go off!"

After sharing her story on TikTok, Randi's followers were much nicer about the dress and took to the comments to share their opinion.

One said: "I thought it was going to be ugly based on the Facebook roast... it’s literally the prettiest dress I’ve ever seen. You have fantastic taste."

Then a second wrote: "To the confused people: the point of shaming groups is to shame - even if it’s a pretty dress! It’s all in good fun."

And a third commented: "The way my jaw dropped! Who the hell could roast this?! It’s incredible!"
