As people across the UK try to reduce their outgoings amid the worsening cost of living crisis, one woman managed to slash her electricity bill by almost £400.
Harriet Morphy-Morris said she and her partner are new renters, and they had searched all the hacks to save money. This included turning appliances off at the wall when not in use, doing washing during off-peak hours and turning the thermostat down.
Despite this, she said their direct debit payments only continued to increase.
