A woman who had her face scarred for life after being viciously mauled by a dog she stopped to clap, has shared pictures of her shocking injuries.
Sam Lodge, 53, was travelling home on Friday, April 1, when she encountered a woman walking a whippet-like dog on the street.
Animal lover Sam, asked the owner if the dog was friendly before bending down to stroke it - but ending up being savagely attacked in the face.
