Woman's body discovered in Iceland car park after welfare concerns raised

A woman's body has been discovered in a supermarket car park after emergency services received reports about her welfare.

Officers and paramedics rushed to the Iceland store car park in Slough around 2.30pm yesterday in response to concerns about a woman.

Tragically, the 42-year-old had already died by the time first responders reached the scene.

Thames Valley Police confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.

A TVP spokesperson said: "We are preparing a file for the coroner after an unexplained but non-suspicious death in Slough yesterday.

"A 42-year-old woman was sadly found dead in a car in a car park in Montrose Avenue at around 2.30pm.

"Her next of kin are aware and we have offered them our support at this difficult time."
