A woman was left with serious injuries after a hit and run in Ashbourne last month.
The incident happened in the Frederick Street area at around 1am on April 10. The woman, a pedestrian aged in her 50's, was rushed to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown for treatment.
The car failed to remain at the scene of the crash. Two men, both aged in their 20s, were arrested and detained at a garda Station in Meath under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Both men have since been released from custody without charge. A garda spokesperson said that a file will now be prepared for the DPP and investigations are ongoing.
The spokesperson made an appeal on the Meath Crime Prevention Facebook page for anyone with information to come forward.
They said: "Anyone who may have been in the Frederick Street area between 12.45am and 1.30am on that date and may have witnessed the incident or may have video footage (including dash-cam) is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01-8010600 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111."
