A woman has been rushed to hospital following a three vehicle crash involving two cars and a pickup truck towing a trailer.
Emergency services raced to the scene on the A92 near Hill of Beath in Fife after being called at around 3pm on Friday, March 18.
The female driver of one of the cars was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy via ambulance. Her current condition is unknown.
There were no other reported injuries following the crash.
The dual carriageway was closed off just after Crossgates, until just after 5pm.
A woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence following the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of a three vehicle crash on the A92, near Hill of Beath, Fife, around 3pm on Friday, 18 March, 2022.
“Two cars and a pickup truck towing a trailer were involved. The female driver of one of the cars was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy and no one else was injured.
“A woman will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with a road traffic offence. The road was re-opened around 5.05pm.”
