The incident occurred on October 15 when an Israeli strike hit the home where the woman's family had sought shelter after being displaced from another area in Gaza.
The Gaza Civil Defense team had initially recovered one deceased individual and several injured persons from the site. However, hope was reignited when residents reported hearing sounds indicating the presence of survivors buried beneath the debris.
