A woman has been left on the brink of a 'nervous breakdown' due to a mystery humming noise that has tormented her for nearly two years.
Yvonne Connor has been left 'exhausted' by the so-called 'Holmfield Hum', which disturbs her sleep every night and led to a decline in both her mental and physical health as a knock-on effect.
The 51-year-old, who lives in Holmfield, near Halifax, says the 'intolerable' noise has even caused her to quit her job due to lack of rest and severe stress.
