A woman who tried to heroically save a stricken sheep has been left feeling embarrassed after she also got stuck and had to be rescued when the RSPCA turned up to assist with the animal.
The red-faced adventurer and her partner spotted the ewe stranded on a narrow ledge in a quarry in Ilston, near Swansea, South Wales, and without a second thought, the woman clambered 12ft (3.6 metres) up the rockface to try and save it.
But after realising how high up she was and getting scared, the woman was unable to get herself back down the rockface and was left frozen in place until the RSPCA turned up to help free the farm animal.
