As the sweltering weather continues, many of us wish we had our own swimming pool we could dive into to cool off. Thousands of us will have already hit the shops ahead of what promises to be an incredibly hot weekend to stock up on paddling pools, water pistols and slip n' slides.
Tesco has even revealed that it has sold 14 times more paddling pools than it did the previous week, while sales of its newly launched inflatable sprinklers and water games have increased by over 1500%.
But while there are some good deals out there, everyone would like to find a way to beat the heat without having to splash the cash. Now one woman looks to have found the answer, with her thrifty solution hailed as "genius" by her online followers.
