Young woman killed in Kirkby flat 'adored' by everyone she worked with
A 20-year-old woman who was killed just two days before Christmas has been described as 'polite' and 'funny' by colleagues at her former workplace.
Courtney Boorne's former employers, Quartz Care, left a touching tribute. They said ''nothing was ever too much trouble''.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson for Quartz Care said: ''On Friday 23rd December, our much-loved colleague and friend Courtney Boorne, sadly passed away. Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time''.

Liverpool salon wins 'best in Merseyside' at awards
Star Salon, on Aigburth Road, has been named 'best in Merseyside' at the Salon Awards.
The award recognises 'industry excellence' in areas across the UK. The salon has previously won other awards and has received more than 100 five star reviews on Salon Spy.
Salon owner Kelly McDonald said: ''Star Salon has been doing great things for 12 years now and I'm very proud of the team and all we have achieved''.

Police issue plea after girl, 15, injured in Etihad stadium attack
A teenager suffered a laceration to the head following an ''attack'' during the meeting between Manchester City and Liverpool.
Greater Manchester police have appealed for more information following the incident during the EFL match. Officers received reports that a young girl had been injured by a cup filled with coins during the game on December 22.
Officers believe the cup was thrown from the stadium's upper tier at around 8.25pm. The girl was taken to hospital where she received medical treatment.
No arrests have been made with officers now appealing for further information to find those responsible.
