Footage of a savage brawl in Laytown, Co Meath shows a woman being kicked in the head.
The fight, which happened outside Pat's Supermarket in Laytown, Co Meath, took place at around 4.20pm on Monday July 18, the hottest day of the year. At least 10 people can be seen in the video, which circulated on social media, with one man holding a hammer as he walked up the road.
In the footage a woman is hit in the face and kicked, while another woman can be seen dragged to the ground by a man. She is then kicked in the head by another female.

Gardai have launched an investigation into the public order incident. Officers on the Meath Crime Prevention page said on July 20 "several people were involved in a physical altercation" on the Coast Road in Laytown.
Gardai are appealing for "anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has information in relation to it or anyone who may have a recording of this incident to please contact Laytown Garda Station on 041-9813320 or Ashbourne Garda Station on 01-8010600".
A garda spokesman told Dublin Live: "Gardaí are investigating a public order incident that occurred on the Coast Road, Laytown, at approximately 4:20pm yesterday, Monday 18 July 2022.
