A woman has been jailed for 10 months after her Doberman dog mauled a three-year-old girl in a "terrifying and traumatic" attack.
Lisa Garner, 45 pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control in connection with the attack in Havant, Hampshire, which left the victim requiring surgery in hospital.
The incident happened in the street where the defendant lives in Botley Drive on August 8.
