Woman jailed after $1.8m of air-freighted meth seized

A Colombian woman who tried to take delivery in Australia of almost $2 million in drugs air-freighted in wooden statues has been jailed and likely faces deportation.

Laura Rocio Leal Ortiz, 32, faced Queensland Supreme Court in Brisbane on Tuesday for sentencing.
