A woman was left bewildered after her 'cheeky neighbours' took it upon themselves to paint a communal door - then asked her to help pay for it.
The door leads to a building of eight flats, with the new residents having recently invested in one of the homes to let out, according to the Liverpool Echo.
Since buying the flat, they have redecorated by painting the front entrance and porch door black - then sent an email to other flat owners in the building asking them to cough up £25 each to cover paint and labour costs.
