Woman hit by Met Police van as she crossed south London road settles claim for £1.3m

A pedestrian who was hit by a Metropolitan Police van as she crossed the road has settled a legal claim against the force for £1.3 million.

The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, was hit by the van responding to an emergency call as she crossed a road in Streatham, south London, in 2019.
