A woman was hit by a car on a street in Glasgow's city centre this afternoon.
The incident happened on Ingram Street at around 3pm today (Friday, May 5) with emergency services rushing to the scene shortly after.
It was confirmed that a female pedestrian was struck by a car and taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The extent of any injuries is not known at this time.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 3.05pm on Friday, May 5, we were called to reports of a pedestrian being struck by a car on Ingram Street, Glasgow.
"The female pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
