A woman went to a JCPenney salon for a basic eyebrow wax and tint, but things went badly wrong. The customer, Chloe, who goes by @fake_chloe_mooney online, recorded what happened and shared it on TikTok. Her video now has more than 3.2 million views and has people talking about safety problems at salons.
The TikTok video shows a worker at the salon putting thick layers of dark hair dye on Chloe’s eyebrows. Text on the screen says the dye stayed on her brows for 40 minutes. That’s way longer than it should be for eyebrow tinting, which usually takes just a few minutes.
