Woman fuming after Hermes delivery driver leaves parcel in rain-soaked wheelie bin

A Gorton woman says a ‘lazy’ delivery driver has ruined a pair of brand new trainers after they were dumped into a rain-soaked wheelie bin.

Lydia Mbuyi ordered a pair of trainers for herself and some joggers for her son last Friday from JD Sports online — and shelled out extra to get next-day delivery.

That was so her son could have the trousers before he went away for the weekend, and as expected, she received a text from Hermes advising her that her package would arrive between 10:30am and 12:30pm on Saturday.
